Smart Afrogrics focuses on poverty eradication through initiatives aligned with carbon
neutrality, organic farming, and electroplasticity. In FY 2023/2024, they trained over 5,000
farmers to produce organic fertilisers and pesticides using locally available materials. The
initiative has positively impacted over 5,000 community members, with plans to extend this to
200,000 in the next five years. The approach contributes to poverty reduction while supporting
global efforts to keep temperatures below 1.5°C.
