MALLAM AMINU KANO AWARD FOR LEADERSHIP

Awarded to an individual who has exhibited exemplary leadership that has significantly and
positively impacted advancing and scaling responsible behaviour.

Nominees

Terrence Afukezeh Fang (Cameroon)
Terrence Afukezeh Fang is a human rights advocate and environmental leader. His roles include
Country Director for the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance in Cameroon. His
initiatives in leadership, environmental advocacy, and women’s empowerment have enhanced
youth employment and community activism, promoting sustainability through local
partnerships and revenue generation.

Ifenla Oligbinde (Nigeria)
Ifenla Oligbinde is a lawyer and inclusion advocate with a focus on women and youth
participation in politics. As Principal Partner of Ark and Rainbow Development Foundation, her
work has led to policy frameworks for greater inclusion in Nigeria’s 2023 General Elections and
mentoring over 1,500 women and youths, ensuring continued empowerment for future
generations.
