Patience hold a master’s degree in Development Studies with over twenty years’ experience in working as a Women’s Rights and Gender Advocate.  Patience currently works with UN Women Nigeria as the National Programme Officer and in her role, she led on UN Women’s normative work with governments to adopt and implement legislation, policies, and development plans in line with international standards and best practices. Patience also lead on UN Women coordination engagements with partners including the Development Partners Group on Gender in Nigeria. Before joining UN Women, Patience worked with several national and international organizations and projects in Nigeria. Patience vision is to see a Nigeria where women and girls can achieve their dreams without any forms of discrimination and exclusion.
